PTR
(formerly USPTR) teaching professional Patrick Anneet, born in Kinshasa,
the Congo, and raised and educated in Belgium has been teaching
tennis for over ten years. Starting a career in instructing and
coaching tennis, was more than natural because tennis has been his
passion since childhood. From a young age, Patrick played competitively
in the Belgian tennis clubs leagues and ultimately achieved a national
ranking. While pursuing his university studies in translation and
education, Patrick started his coaching career in Belgium developing
children programs (ages 4-8) and providing instruction through tennis
clinics and training programs for junior and adults in private tennis
clubs. Strongly motivated by his desire to pursue a career in teaching
tennis in the United States, Patrick actively attended PTR seminars
and conferences and obtained his teaching certification. Moving
to California in 1998, Patrick served as a tennis teaching professional
in a variety of settings, including tennis clubs, Westside schools
and public tennis facilities. In 2003, Patrick took over the tennis
operation at 2505 Wilshire Blvd. in Santa Monica, California and
founded Anneet Tennis, Inc. Having achieved his ambitious dream
of running his own Tennis Center, Patrick aspires to share his enthusiasm
and deep appreciation for the sport of tennis with all of his clients.
